Social Media Specialist

About the role

Eightcap is looking for a Social Media Specialist to own and grow its global social presence. The role focuses on turning social channels into a strategic growth engine, shaping brand narrative across organic and paid media.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create and optimise content for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit and X, including paid amplification.
• Lead Meta‑based reach and engagement campaigns, set up ads, conduct A/B testing and perform real‑time optimisation.
• Produce visual assets using Figma, Adobe Creative Suite or Canva while maintaining brand consistency.
• Localise messaging and visuals for APAC, EMEA and LATAM markets.
• Monitor reach, engagement and community growth, using insights to refine strategy.
• Engage with online communities, especially Reddit trading groups, to build trust and loyalty.
• Collaborate with marketing, product and brand teams to support go‑to‑market initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing social channels for a brand with measurable impact.
• Strong communicator comfortable engaging customers in social discussions.
• Analytical mindset with ability to track metrics and iterate based on data.
• Independent worker able to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Meta ad setup and optimisation, including A/B testing.
• Creation of visual content using Canva, Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Management of social platforms: Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit and X.
