Social Media Marketing Specialist

About the role

Welcome is seeking a Social Media Marketing Specialist who lives and breathes the feed, knows what makes people stop, comment and share, and can turn strategy into scroll‑stopping content that delivers results for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Own social strategy: build and run content calendars across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and emerging platforms.
• Create scroll‑stopping content: write copy, shape posts, reels and stories, and brief designers, videographers and creators.
• Manage communities: engage audiences, respond to comments and DMs, and grow active followings.
• Ride the trends: spot cultural moments and platform shifts early and translate them into on‑brand content.
• Run paid social: plan, set up and optimise campaigns on Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn to meet reach, engagement and conversion goals.
• Measure and report: track performance against KPIs, extract insights and present recommendations.
• Maintain client relationships: act as the trusted day‑to‑day contact for each brand.

Required profile

• 2+ years managing social media for brands or clients, preferably agency‑side, with a portfolio of work.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to juggle multiple clients, calendars and deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset, integrity and a growth‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Scheduling and analytics tools: Meta Business Suite, Later, Sprout Social, Hootsuite.
• Paid‑social platforms: Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads.
• Short‑form video editing: CapCut, Adobe Premiere (or similar).
• Design tools: Canva, Adobe Creative Suite.
