Social Media Content Producer – Flexible Location

About the role

AWC is looking for a creative and highly organised Social Media Content Producer to help tell the story of Australia’s wildlife and conservation work. You will plan, produce and optimise engaging social‑first content that builds awareness, grows audiences and inspires action.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage content calendars across multiple social platforms.
• Produce short‑form video, photography and written assets from concept through publication.
• Coordinate content shoots, handling logistics, stakeholder management and planning.
• Collaborate with field staff, creators, partners and the Communications team to translate complex conservation stories into compelling content.
• Identify and engage creators, influencers and ambassadors to expand reach.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience creating high‑performing social media and digital content, especially short‑form video.
• Strong videography, photography, interviewing and editing capabilities.
• Proven ability to work with influencers, creators and journalists.

• Adobe Creative Cloud – Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop.
