Social & Content Executive

About the role

We are seeking a creative, digitally‑savvy team player to join our marketing team. In this role you will drive content creation, social media strategy and influencer collaborations, helping our artists connect with audiences across Australia and globally.

Key responsibilities

• Capture, create and curate high‑quality video, basic animation, infographics, images and social posts.
• Generate content ideas aligned with target audiences and business objectives.
• Participate in scripting, shooting, editing and post‑production, and coordinate external creatives for larger projects.
• Plan and execute content capture for touring artists and events.
• Manage Sony Music’s local social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter) and website.
• Develop and maintain content calendars, monitor performance and share insights.
• Collaborate with artists, managers and internal teams to craft digital storytelling narratives across TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, Meta, Discord and emerging channels.
• Optimize content for search algorithms, stay ahead of platform trends and identify new digital opportunities.
• Identify and engage influencers to amplify campaigns.

• Creative and digitally‑savvy with a strong eye for visual storytelling.
• Team‑player who can collaborate with artists, managers and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Proactive in staying current with music, pop‑culture and platform trends.
