SMP QAQC Inspector

About the role

UGL is seeking an experienced SMP QAQC Inspector to join the team on an ongoing basis for a major Oil & Gas project. The role starts ASAP on a 15:13 FIFO roster based in Perth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide quality education, advice and assurance across the project team.
• Collaborate during pre‑mobilisation to define quality inputs such as workpacks and job cards.
• Coordinate quality control systems, identify improvements and develop performance measurements.
• Manage and schedule quality activities according to inspection plans and facilitate education sessions.
• Report quality challenges, submit trend‑analysis reports and ensure project team adherence to quality obligations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within construction or project environments.
• CSWIP Cert 10 Welding Supervisor certification.
• Commissioning and systems completion experience.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations and best practices.

Required skills

• High‑level proficiency in Microsoft Power BI.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex data manipulation and analysis.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
