Site Manager – Residential Housing Estate

About the role

Design & Build is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a residential housing estate project comprising townhouses and single dwellings across Melbourne Metro. You will oversee the site from civil groundworks through to handover and continue with work in the North‑West region after completion.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a large housing estate jobsite of 20‑25 dwellings per Site Manager.
• Coordinate programming, scheduling, trades and material deliveries across multiple dwelling types.
• Oversee site staff and liaise with internal office teams such as estimators and drafters.
• Resolve design and construction issues that arise on site.
• Report on programme, costing, WHS and other project metrics.

Required profile

• Experience with newly built townhouses and/or single dwellings within a housing estate.
• Technical ability to manage various trades on site.
• Excellent communication skills with internal employees and external suppliers/stakeholders.
• Valid driver’s licence and White Card.
• Computer literacy and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, Monday to Friday on a single job site.
