Site Manager – Modernisation

About the role

KONE is seeking an experienced Modernisation Site Manager to lead multiple modernisation projects in Melbourne. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while building strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate multiple modernisation projects from start to finish.
• Plan and organise labour, materials, equipment and subcontractor activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Drive a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with KONE’s safety standards.
• Lead, coach and motivate site teams to achieve quality, productivity and customer satisfaction targets.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks and resolve site issues proactively.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and operational teams for seamless execution.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting and compliance records.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in site management, construction, or project delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities and timelines.
• Construction qualification, trade background or equivalent industry experience.
• Lift industry experience is highly regarded.
• Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
