Site Manager – Installation & Commissioning

About the role

The Site Manager will lead the safe and compliant execution of installation, testing and commissioning for the RTIO CLAHDO Automated Sample Preparation Cell at the FLSmidth site in Perth. Acting as the primary onsite authority, you will ensure adherence to safety, quality and governance standards while preparing the facility for operational hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Track, manage and report onsite progress, risks and issues in line with project and RTIO governance.
• Enforce approved SWMS, JHAs, lift plans and commissioning procedures.
• Lead installation, pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities within FLS battery limits.
• Coordinate subcontractor mobilisation, performance and progress.
• Support SAT, performance testing, punch‑list close‑out and hand‑over documentation.
• Ensure completion of ITPs, inspection records, test sheets and redlines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing large‑scale installation and commissioning projects in the mining or industrial sector.
• Strong understanding of safety governance, risk mitigation and quality systems.
• Ability to work on a FIFO roster and collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
