Site Manager - High-Voltage Utility Projects

About the role

CPP, a high-voltage infrastructure provider and member of Quanta Services, is looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead delivery of critical utility asset replacement projects across South Australia. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will own site delivery from mobilisation to completion, coordinating personnel, contractors, documentation, safety, quality and stakeholder engagement. Initial projects focus on asset replacement works in the south-east of South Australia, with a mix of office work in Adelaide and site work during outages.

Key responsibilities

• Lead crews of CPP employees and contractors and oversee site safety and compliance during outages
• Coordinate outages and work sequencing
• Manage documentation and reporting requirements
• Maintain strong relationships with client representatives and project stakeholders

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager, Site Supervisor or senior field leader in HV electrical or utility infrastructure
• Strong leadership experience managing site personnel, subcontractors and multiple stakeholders
• Practical knowledge of construction sequencing, outage planning and site delivery
• Proven ability to manage safety, quality, site documentation, inductions, permits and compliance
• Electrical trade qualifications and a current Australian driver's licence
• Highly regarded: experience on high-voltage substations or asset replacement projects, exposure to utility environments and transmission network operators, and experience managing mixed workforces of employees and subcontractors
• Certificate IV in Safety, Civil Construction or related qualification
