Site Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

Lead the day‑to‑day delivery of an education construction project in Gawler, ensuring safety, quality and schedule are maintained. You will be the driving force on site, coordinating subcontractors and site teams while fostering Hindmarsh’s culture.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the construction programme and manage daily site activities.
• Supervise construction in compliance with legislative requirements.
• Track progress and collaborate with the Project Manager on program, cost and quality issues.
• Hold subcontractors and suppliers accountable for quality and timing.
• Drive safety, quality and environmental standards through inductions, toolbox talks, risk assessments and inspections.
• Interpret plans, resolve constructability issues and support design coordination.
• Maintain site records, including diaries, ITPs and SQE documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in site supervision within commercial construction.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and suppliers on complex projects.
• Strong understanding of Australian construction standards, codes and safety legislation.
• Experience delivering projects in commercial, education or health sectors.
