Site Manager – Commercial Construction

About the role

The successful candidate will lead site operations from commencement through to completion for a range of commercial projects across South Australia, ensuring safety, efficiency and high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and on‑site personnel.
• Drive site safety, compliance and quality outcomes.
• Monitor progress against construction programmes and manage site logistics.
• Conduct toolbox talks, site meetings and inspections.
• Resolve on‑site issues to maintain project momentum.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers and key stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience as a Site Manager, Senior Site Supervisor or similar leadership role in commercial construction.
• Proven track record delivering commercial building projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of Australian building regulations, construction methodologies and WHS requirements.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades on‑site.

Required skills

• Proficiency with construction software such as Aconex, MS Project and/or Bluebeam.
