Site Engineer – Civil Construction

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join the Rockhampton Ring Road Project in Queensland. The role supports the safe, efficient and compliant delivery of civil construction works, focusing on large‑scale earthworks, bridge structures and roadworks.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate site activities to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule.
• Manage planning and execution of construction works in line with approved drawings, specifications and methodologies.
• Take ownership of retaining wall structures, ensuring quality, constructability and design compliance.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to meet programme and productivity targets.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards across all site activities.
• Contribute to project controls, including progress tracking and cost management.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer in civil construction environments.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications and civil engineering standards.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams.
• Commitment to HSE, quality and environmental compliance.
