Serviceperson Maintenance L2

About the role

The Serviceperson Maintenance L2 is a permanent, 42‑hour week position operating on a day/night continuous roster at South32's Boddington Bauxite Mine in Western Australia. You will work on surface mobile equipment, ensuring reliability and safety through planned maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute scheduled preventative maintenance on heavy mobile mining equipment.
• Complete work orders and accurately record all activities in SAP.
• Investigate faults, implement corrective actions, and contribute to equipment reliability improvements.
• Identify and scope maintenance requirements to support effective planning and scheduling.
• Report hazards, incidents, and equipment issues, supporting a strong safety culture.

Required profile

• Previous experience performing preventative maintenance on heavy mobile mining equipment.
• Ability to work safely in a maintenance‑focused, operational environment.
• Experience using maintenance management systems and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Strong collaboration skills with maintenance, operations, and planning teams.
