Service Technician – Field Service Engineer

About the role

Ricoh is seeking a skilled, customer‑focused Service Technician to provide break‑fix support, installations and technical services for our printer and audio‑visual product range across Australia. You will work directly with clients on‑site, delivering high‑quality technical assistance and training.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑ and post‑sales technical support through scheduled service orders.
• Perform on‑site and remote hardware and software installations, including wall and ceiling mounting of audio‑visual equipment.
• Provide clear end‑user training on Ricoh solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve software issues logged via service orders.
• Attend field service calls, meet customer satisfaction targets and document outcomes professionally.
• Follow processes for chargeable work outside contracted agreements and record all spare parts and consumables used.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a field service or technical support role.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem‑solving ability.
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to obtain WWCC, police check, working‑from‑heights and construction cards.
• Confidence working independently on client sites.
