Service Technician – A-Grade Electrician (Automatic Doors)

About the role

We are looking for an A‑Grade Electrician to join our service team, providing maintenance and repair for automatic and industrial doors across our service region. The role involves responding to breakdowns, carrying out major works and supporting other dormakaba products through commissioning and installation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and electrical fault finding on automatic doors and access solutions.
• Deliver exceptional on‑site customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
• Complete accurate service reports and update records using our service management system and mobile apps.
• Work independently while adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Participate in an on‑call roster for after‑hours support on a rotational basis.

Required profile

• Current A‑Grade Electrical Licence (or equivalent strong electrical service background).
• Solid experience in electrical fault‑finding and troubleshooting in service environments.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
