Service Manager

About the role

Konecranes is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead its Northwest service operations from Canning Vale. The role focuses on delivering safe, efficient and high‑quality service outcomes for a growing customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the Service team to achieve revenue, growth, profit and operational objectives through daily activities and continuous improvement.
• Monitor service metrics such as profitability and productivity, manage labour planning and ensure successful delivery of service calls, inspections, repairs and projects.
• Enforce safety policies, conduct toolbox meetings and ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• Maintain strong customer and supplier relationships through regular visits, service reviews and timely issue resolution.
• Oversee job performance, approve timesheets, manage weekly invoicing and coordinate maintenance of company equipment and vehicles.
• Identify training needs, collaborate with Sales to maximise opportunities, ensure on‑call coverage and travel to Pilbara and interstate as required.

Required profile

• Trade‑qualified Electrician or Mechanical Fitter, or a tertiary qualification in Business Management or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a Service Manager, Operations Manager or Field Service leadership role.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills with a safety‑first mindset.
• Financial awareness of job costing, margins and operational performance.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience in industrial maintenance, lifting equipment, cranes or heavy industry is highly regarded.
