SEO Specialist (Melbourne)

About the role

StudioHawk is looking for an SEO Specialist to join its Melbourne team. You will own end‑to‑end SEO initiatives, working directly with clients to develop and execute strategies that drive measurable search performance.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with clients to understand their goals and translate them into SEO strategies.
• Execute SEO campaigns, including technical optimisation, content briefing, and coordination with writers, off‑site and PR specialists.
• Conduct keyword, competitor and trend research to uncover growth opportunities.
• Optimise website structures and craft content strategies aligned with SEO best practices.
• Present performance insights and recommendations to clients.
• Collaborate closely with the internal team, sharing ideas and supporting continuous learning.

Required profile

• Based in Melbourne, Australia.
• 1–2+ years of hands‑on SEO experience or equivalent.
• Growth‑mindset, eager to learn and take feedback.
• Strong communication skills for client and internal interactions.
