SEO Manager

About the role

Alpha Digital is seeking an SEO Manager to own a portfolio of client brands, driving SEO strategy from conception through execution and performance reporting. You will work within the Digital Experience team, reporting to the Head of Digital Experience, and collaborate closely with an SEO Executive.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own SEO roadmaps, covering technical audits, content optimisation, schema, site architecture and indexing.
• Analyse organic performance data (GA4, Looker Studio) to identify growth opportunities and report results to clients.
• Lead client conversations, translating business challenges into clear SEO strategies and actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with wider teams (Content, Digital PR, DX) to ensure integrated, cross‑channel optimisation.
• Mentor and QA the work of the SEO Executive, fostering their development while staying hands‑on.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of hands‑on SEO experience covering technical, content and strategic aspects.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and present complex SEO concepts in an understandable way.
• Commercially minded with a strong focus on measurable organic growth.
• Curiosity about emerging search trends such as GEO, AEO and AI‑driven search.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SEO tools: Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console.
• Data analysis using GA4 and Looker Studio.
• Technical SEO knowledge including crawlability, indexing, schema and on‑page optimisation.
