SEO Account Manager

About the role

Zenith, a Publicis Groupe team focused on modern media and consumer insights, is hiring an SEO Account Manager in Sydney. The role works closely with the SEO Director to deliver effective, holistic SEO campaigns that exceed client objectives, while building processes and nurturing relationships with key client stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support SEO content strategies through keyword research, content gap analysis and competitor reviews
• Partner with internal teams to produce search-optimised content that drives organic visibility
• Deliver data-driven technical and content recommendations to improve site performance and rankings
• Run site audits, fix site architecture, metadata and internal linking, and carry out off-site SEO audits
• Support backlink analysis, digital PR and other initiatives that strengthen domain authority
• Use analytics platforms and SEO tools to find trends and report performance insights
• Build client relationships, act as a trusted advisor and collaborate with the SEO and Paid Search teams
• Stay up to date with SEO trends and search engine updates

Required profile

• Experience in an SEO role, ideally on the agency side
• Experience in a fast-paced agency environment with high-value clients
• Excellent communicator, confident and professional with clients and third parties
• Solid understanding of how to measure SEO impact through analytics and external metrics
• Good understanding of how websites and search engines work

Required skills

• Strong grasp of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
• Intermediate understanding of web languages such as HTML
• Ability to set business-relevant KPIs and track organic search performance
