Senior Workplace Relations Specialist

About the role

The Senior Workplace Relations Specialist provides expert advice on workplace relations across Regis’ national footprint. You will interpret awards, enterprise agreements and legislation, lead complex case management, and partner with senior leaders to shape strategy in a multi‑site aged‑care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to senior leaders and People & Culture teams on industrial relations matters.
• Lead complex case management, conduct performance and conduct investigations, and support enterprise agreement interpretation.
• Develop and execute enterprise bargaining strategies, negotiate agreements and operationalise new awards.
• Represent Regis before the Fair Work Commission and in other employment‑related proceedings.
• Partner with unions, legal partners and stakeholders on organisational change, policy development and continuous improvement.
• Provide workplace‑relations leadership on mergers, acquisitions and other commercial initiatives to minimise legal risk.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Law or Industrial Relations.
• Extensive experience in workplace relations, industrial relations or employment law within Australia.
• Proven track record of leading enterprise bargaining and managing high‑complexity employee relations cases.
• Strong understanding of relevant awards, enterprise agreements and Fair Work legislation.
