Senior Winning Work Consultant – Bids & Pursuits

About the role

As part of Aurecon’s Winning Work team, the Senior Winning Work Consultant will lead the development and execution of bid and pursuit strategies for major engineering projects, working closely with clients and internal teams to secure new business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate pursuit strategies for key opportunities.
• Manage winning strategy development for bids, including value propositions, win themes and client‑focused messaging.
• Provide end‑to‑end bid and proposal management to ensure on‑time, high‑quality, compliant submissions.
• Collaborate with bid teams, leading kick‑off meetings, status calls and reviews.
• Produce tailored, client‑focused bid responses and maintain content for Knowledge Libraries.

Required profile

• Strong bid, proposal or pursuit experience with ability to manage multiple priorities in a time‑critical environment.
• Excellent technical, persuasive writing, editing and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
• Confident communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills, able to engage and influence at all levels.
• Relevant qualification in communications, marketing, business or a related field.

Required skills

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint, including templates, styles, layout and formatting.
• Proactive, curious approach with willingness to learn new systems and processes.
