Senior Technical Consultant – Data Conversion

About the role

The Senior Technical Consultant leads the data conversion workstream for Workday implementations across the APAC region, guiding customers through the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define conversion approach, extract, transform, and load legacy data into Workday.
• Collaborate with project managers, functional and technical consultants, and customers to ensure accurate data migration.
• Resolve conversion challenges and apply Workday best practices.
• Support customers in understanding data requirements and preparing legacy data.

Required profile

• 6+ years in data migration, integration development, or software development.
• Experience in technical consulting, requirements gathering, and solution design.
• Domain experience in HR, Payroll, Financials, Supply Chain, or Student systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ETL tools, SQL/MySQL, XML, Microsoft Excel, and stored procedures.
• Experience using GitHub, Python, and/or Ruby.
• Knowledge of Workday data conversion technologies such as iLoad, EIB, and Advanced Load.
• Understanding of full software implementation lifecycle and data reconciliation.
