About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our Melbourne team. You will work closely with Client Service Managers to deliver high‑quality accounting services, manage client relationships and mentor junior staff.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements, income tax returns, BAS and supporting workpapers.
- Analyse client financials and provide practical insights and recommendations.
- Manage day‑to‑day client relationships, workflow, billing and turnaround times.
- Support, mentor and develop junior team members.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
- Ensure compliance with taxation, GST and regulatory requirements.
Required profile
- Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
- Proactive team player with strong attention to detail.
