Senior Strategy Manager

About the role

Join the NRMA’s Strategy team on a 12‑month parental‑leave contract to shape the future of a leading Australian brand. Working closely with the Head of Strategy (interim) and the GM Strategy & ESG, you will drive growth and transformation across the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Support development and refresh of enterprise, portfolio and business‑unit strategies with senior leaders.
• Plan and deliver annual strategy off‑sites for executives and the Board.
• Facilitate annual planning and quarterly business reviews in partnership with Group Finance, helping divisional leaders set OKRs.
• Lead strategic projects from conception to execution, including new membership propositions, commercial diagnostics, transformation initiatives, and investment analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification desirable.
• 5–10+ years in corporate strategy or consulting, preferably with exposure to transport, energy, tourism or consumer industries.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen with experience in growth strategy, M&A, digital transformation and product innovation.
• Proven ability to lead projects independently, build relationships quickly and influence senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel modelling.
• Data visualisation and PowerPoint storytelling.
• Use of AI tools for research and analysis.
