Senior Strata Manager

About the role

Vantage Strata is looking for a Senior Strata Manager to join its award-winning team. The role is central to the company's business of delivering high-quality professional strata management services, working alongside a team of strata professionals. The position involves managing a portfolio of buildings and advising clients in line with relevant legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Build relationships with Executive Committees and Owners
• Manage a portfolio of buildings and advise clients according to legislation
• Liaise with developers, builders, owners, tenants, contractors and building managers
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, meeting agendas, minutes, letters and other documentation
• Make site visits and inspect buildings under management
• Implement maintenance programs with the facilities team
• Set up insurance policies and lodge claims where needed
• Convene and attend AGMs, general meetings and Executive Committee meetings
• Ensure legislation and by-laws are followed

Required profile

• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in strata management
• Ownership of a portfolio of buildings and willingness to learn
• Ability to negotiate and manage disputes, and to run and control meetings
• Resilience and ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
• Excellent customer service and time management skills

Required skills

• Competence in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Understanding of financial statements
• Clear, concise written correspondence
