Senior Solutions Engineer

About the role

SailPoint is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join its Australia/New Zealand presales team. You will work closely with sales, partners and customers to articulate the value of SailPoint’s identity governance solutions to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Account Executives, Digital Sales, Customer Success and Delivery Services to support direct and indirect sales efforts.
• Discover customer requirements, align SailPoint solutions to address identity challenges, and deliver product demonstrations.
• Lead technical conversations, respond to RFx requests, and contribute to solution design and roadmap feedback.
• Mentor new team members and create customer success content such as case studies and blog posts.

Required profile

• 5+ years of pre‑sales technical experience in enterprise software.
• 3+ years working with identity, governance and access management solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and work from Melbourne with remote flexibility.

Required skills

• Identity Security, Governance and Access Management concepts.
• Technical infrastructure knowledge: application servers, databases, virtualization, directories.
• Familiarity with Java, XML, LDAP, SQL.
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud and AWS.
