Enterprise Architect – SAP

About the role

Queensland Rail is seeking an Enterprise Architect – SAP to provide strategic leadership for its SAP environment. You will ensure SAP solutions align with business goals, enterprise architecture, and technology strategy while supporting the organisation’s digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead governance, direction and quality assurance of SAP enterprise architecture, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy and technology standards.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into architecture roadmaps, investment recommendations and future‑state solutions.
• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture roadmaps across applications, data, integration, infrastructure, cloud and cyber security, with SAP at the core.
• Provide architecture leadership for major SAP transformation initiatives, including S/4HANA, cloud adoption, platform modernisation, integrations and continuous improvement programmes.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading SAP enterprise architecture in large, complex organisations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Highly developed analytical and problem‑solving skills, aligning business strategy with technology investments.
