Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

TechnologyOne is looking for a Senior Service Engineer to join its Brisbane team. This hands‑on role focuses on Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure and automation, helping to modernise the platform, improve deployments and build reliable, scalable infrastructure for millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation and Helm.
• Design, implement and enhance the Kubernetes platform.
• Automate infrastructure and deployment processes to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Improve platform security, resilience and observability with modern cloud‑native tools.
• Support Kubernetes cluster operations, upgrades and ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer experience and delivery pipelines.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical best practices across the team.

Required profile

• Strong experience with AWS (Azure experience is a plus).
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm and CloudFormation.
• Approximately five or more years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or a similar field.
• Experience building and supporting large‑scale cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and automation best practices.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a collaborative engineering approach.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline is desirable.
