Senior Security Engineer

About the role

Airlock Digital is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join its Security Operations team. You will protect the company’s information systems by designing security controls, managing tooling, and leading incident response and vulnerability management activities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain security controls, automations and monitoring across corporate applications, systems, cloud, and endpoints.
• Respond to security incidents: conduct initial investigations, contain threats and coordinate remediation.
• Own vulnerability management processes and tooling, ensuring timely remediation and reporting while maturing the capability.
• Mentor junior engineers and analysts as needed.
• Collaborate with IT and other security teams to share insights on emerging threats and vulnerabilities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, focused on technical security operations and tooling.
• Strong knowledge of security fundamentals such as authentication, authorisation and cryptography.
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM tools (especially Splunk) and network security technologies (firewalls, IDS).
• Experience with endpoint security solutions; prior use of Airlock is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in developing detection rules, alerts and playbooks, and in using vulnerability management tools.
