Senior Security Operations Analyst

About the role

Join The Lottery Corporation’s Security Operations team to lead complex, high‑severity incidents, improve detection content and work closely with Managed Detection and Response partners. You will also mentor analysts and help raise investigation quality across the team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex and high‑severity incident response and post‑incident reviews.
• Build, tune and improve detection content across the environment.
• Investigate threats through log analysis, evidence correlation and AI‑driven triage.
• Develop automation and apply AI to security‑operations workflows.
• Manage day‑to‑day engagement with MDR partners and participate in the on‑call rotation.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience in Security Operations or a SOC environment.
• Strong incident‑response and detection‑engineering capability.
• Experience leading complex or high‑severity investigations.
• Ability to mentor others and influence technical teams.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SIEM, endpoint and network monitoring tools.
• Experience with SOAR platforms, log onboarding and detection tuning.
• PowerShell or Linux scripting and security‑automation skills.
• Practical experience applying AI and automation within SecOps.
• Strong knowledge of threat intelligence, MITRE ATT&CK and MDR provider engagement.
