Senior Security Consultant – Cyber Risk & Advisory

About the role
As a Senior Security Consultant you will help organisations understand, secure and strengthen their cyber security posture against modern threats. You will work directly with clients across multiple industries, delivering high‑impact assessments, strategic recommendations and implementation support. The role sits at the intersection of risk management, governance and operational resilience.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and deliver cybersecurity consulting engagements, including enterprise risk and security maturity assessments.
- Design security architectures, operating models and control frameworks aligned to regulatory standards.
- Advise clients on compliance requirements such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, PCI‑DSS and GDPR.
- Develop cybersecurity strategies, roadmaps, policies and governance structures.
- Prepare and present executive‑level reports, risk dashboards and actionable recommendations.
- Support business development by contributing to proposals, statements of work and sales activities.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in consulting or advisory roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related discipline.
- Proven experience conducting risk assessments, workshops and third‑party assurance activities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to balance hands‑on technical work with strategic advisory responsibilities.
Required skills
- Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, PCI‑DSS and GDPR frameworks.
- Experience with supply chain security and software bill of materials (SBOM) concepts.
- Understanding of risk management and governance models.
- Familiarity with third‑party risk and supplier assurance processes.
- Capability to produce concise reports and deliver clear recommendations.
