Senior Safety Recruitment Consultant (Contracting)

About the role

Join a leading specialist recruitment firm in Sydney as a Senior/Principal Consultant within their Safety practice. You will manage a high‑performing contracting portfolio, working with established client relationships and a consultative, retained recruitment model.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for safety roles including Health & Safety Advisors, WHS Advisors, Coordinators, Business Partners and interim safety appointments.
• Maintain and deepen relationships with senior stakeholders such as Heads of Safety and leadership teams.
• Deliver a process‑led shortlisting cycle (typically three weeks) and ensure a high‑touch candidate and client experience.
• Collaborate with the team to meet performance targets and contribute to the firm’s market credibility.

Required profile

• Current experience as a Recruitment Consultant, Senior Consultant or Principal Consultant, preferably within safety or related sectors.
• Proven ability to work in a retained, consultative environment rather than a transactional, volume‑driven desk.
• Strong attention to detail and credibility with senior stakeholders.
• Motivation to add value in a candidate‑short market.
