Senior Remedial Consultant

About the role

ACOR, one of Australia’s largest employee‑owned engineering consultancies, is expanding its Sydney Remedial Engineering, Waterproofing & Facades team. The Senior Remedial Consultant will lead diagnostic investigations, design waterproofing solutions, develop remediation strategies and manage projects across residential strata, commercial, industrial and government properties.

Key responsibilities

• Lead building inspections, defect investigations and diagnostic assessments.
• Prepare technical reports, scopes of work and remediation recommendations.
• Manage remedial projects from investigation through construction to completion.
• Build strong relationships with strata managers, owners corporations, property owners and key stakeholders.
• Mentor junior consultants and support team growth.
• Assist in developing new business opportunities and strengthening existing client relationships.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience in remedial consultancy, waterproofing or remedial project delivery.
• Strong exposure to strata and apartment remediation projects.
• Proven experience preparing reports, specifications and remediation recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Solid project management capability and commercial awareness.
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Surveying or Architecture.
