Senior Quality Manager – Multi‑site Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Quality Manager to take full ownership of quality systems across manufacturing sites in NSW and Victoria for an established packaging manufacturer. You will lead ISO 9001, GMP and food‑safety accreditation programmes while working closely with plant managers and the Continuous Improvement Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Lead ISO 9001, GMP and food‑safety accreditation compliance across all sites.
• Manage auditor relationships and conduct internal and external audits.
• Investigate, perform root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions on customer‑facing quality issues.
• Partner with Plant Managers, Sales and Continuous Improvement to resolve quality problems, including occasional out‑of‑hours escalations.
• Visit customer sites as needed and propose improvements to the quality team structure.

Required profile

• Strong quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably packaging.
• Solid ISO 9001 and audit management experience; food‑safety accreditation (ISO 22000/FSSC 22000) and GMP exposure highly desirable.
• Proactive, self‑starting attitude with the ability to balance reactive firefighting and strategic quality objectives.
• Engaging communication style that influences site teams, customers and auditors.
