Senior Property Manager - Commercial & Industrial Assets

About the role

JLL is hiring a Senior Property Manager (listed as Facilities Manager) in Adelaide for its Property & Asset Management team. The role leads a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial assets and works closely with multiple owners across local and national accounts. It is a senior position that goes beyond day-to-day property management, involving collaboration with Engineering, Operations Solutions and Client Accounting teams.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants, managing obligations under leases and ownership agreements
• Prepare and distribute regular property and portfolio reports with recommendations on issues and performance trends
• Lead annual budgets, outgoings audits and financial forecasts aligned with client and national account requirements
• Manage critical lease dates and tenure activity, delivering commercially sound leasing solutions
• Oversee property inspections, follow up on repairs and ensure timely resolution
• Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, insurance requirements and risk management protocols
• Pursue business growth opportunities within existing client relationships and across the portfolio
• Coach, develop and give regular feedback to team members
• Liaise with legal and valuation stakeholders on documentation, dispute resolution and landlord valuation

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in a property-related field
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar property management role
• Current Land Sales Representative licence
• Current driver's licence
• Experience managing commercial and industrial asset portfolios and familiarity with national client account structures is highly regarded

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of lease administration, retail lease compliance and commercial property legislation
• Experience preparing budgets, forecasts and financial reports
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a team
