Senior Project Manager – Systems Implementation

About the role

Australian Payments Plus is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager on a 12‑month contract to lead a major systems implementation. You will work at the intersection of business, technology and data, coordinating multiple workstreams and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of commercial systems implementations, managing plans, budgets, resources and risks.
• Coordinate multiple concurrent workstreams across business, technology and data teams.
• Translate commercial requirements into clear project outcomes and scalable solutions.
• Establish project governance, reporting and decision‑making processes.
• Facilitate senior stakeholder discussions and drive timely decisions.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience delivering complex business and technology projects.
• Proven track record of commercial technology system implementations.
• Strong understanding of data‑driven solutions and their impact on system design.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Experience in payments, financial services or similar complex technology environments is a plus.
