Senior Project Manager

About the role

The Greater Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust is seeking two experienced Senior Project Managers to lead a diverse portfolio of capital works, asset renewal and infrastructure projects across its sites and regions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent capital works, asset and infrastructure projects from inception through to completion.
• Lead project planning, governance, procurement, tendering and contractor/consultant management.
• Oversee project budgets, costs, risks, issues, timelines, quality and scope.
• Establish and facilitate project working groups and provide reporting to governance forums.
• Engage and manage consultants, contractors and relevant authorities throughout delivery.

Required profile

• 10+ years experience in project management, construction management or related industry.
• Proven track record delivering complex or high‑risk projects.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing business priorities and manage multiple initiatives.

Required skills

• Use of project management software such as MS Project.
• Use of PMO 365.
