Senior Project Manager – Fit-Out $5m to $20m+

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead high‑specification commercial fit‑out and refurbishment projects ranging from $5 million to $20 million. The role involves delivering safe, high‑quality, and profitable construction outcomes for office, health, education, government, hotel and leisure sectors across multiple states.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, budget, schedule and resource allocation.
• Monitor progress, track milestones and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure health and safety regulations and company policies are adhered to.
• Document and resolve quality issues and contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field.
• 10‑15+ years delivering fit‑out and refurbishment projects with top‑tier contractors.
• Proven leadership experience building and motivating teams.
• Strong knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent financial reporting and stakeholder management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication and negotiation abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using construction software such as Jobpac, Procore and Asta Powerproject (or similar).
