Senior Project Manager, Docklands

About the role

ANZ is hiring a Senior Project Manager for its Transformation Delivery Hub (TDH) in Melbourne, within the Group Operations division. This is a secondment role, full-time (40 hours per week), and is being filled for multiple locations. The manager leads strategically significant or business-critical projects and strengthens project management capability, standards and assurance across the wider delivery community.

Key responsibilities

• Lead highly complex, strategic, cross-functional or multi-stream projects with significant organisational impact.
• Establish the overall delivery strategy and governance architecture, integrating workstreams, suppliers, business units and delivery disciplines.
• Own project-level financial, schedule, risk and dependency outcomes, and anticipate systemic delivery risks with preventative interventions.
• Navigate scope, investment, resource and delivery trade-offs, and influence executive stakeholders and decision-making forums.
• Lead major recovery or remediation where delivery is materially challenged, and set quality and assurance expectations.
• Coach project managers and lift project-management capability.

Required profile

• Ideal candidates bring programme-style integration, advanced financial management and delivery-risk leadership.
• Experience in regulatory transformation, operating-model transformation and portfolio management is helpful; 100% of the listed skills are not required.
