Senior Project Manager - Complex Multidisciplinary Projects

About the role

Fyfe, an Australian multidisciplinary consultancy with more than 700 people across engineering, environment, planning and surveying, is looking for a Senior Project Manager in Adelaide. Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager, you will own the planning, commercial performance and delivery of major projects, working closely with clients, technical specialists and project teams. It is a hands-on, senior project delivery role with genuine influence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex projects from initiation to completion, delivering strong outcomes across scope, programme, budget, quality and client satisfaction.
• Shape delivery strategies, governance frameworks and project controls that give clarity, accountability and momentum.
• Strengthen commercial performance through forecasting, cost control, invoicing, variations, claims and cash flow management.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, contractors and delivery partners while leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Identify and secure new opportunities through proposal development, client engagement and relationship growth.
• Coach project professionals, share lessons learned and improve ways of working to build project delivery capability.

Required profile

• A relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, project management, construction management or a related discipline.
• Typically 10 to 15 years' experience delivering complex projects in consulting, engineering or construction environments.
• Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams and managing senior client and stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to interpret complex information, exercise sound judgement and make timely decisions.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; a formal project management qualification or professional accreditation is a plus.
