Senior Project Coordinator - Civil Infrastructure & Capital Works

About the role

A local government organisation is looking for a Senior Project Coordinator to join its collaborative infrastructure team. The role supports the delivery of civil and transport infrastructure projects that benefit the community, covering capital works projects and programs, project delivery, governance, reporting, stakeholder engagement and contractor coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of civil and transport infrastructure projects
• Support project planning, budgeting, scheduling and reporting
• Prepare project documentation, briefing notes and governance reports
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, contractors, consultants and external agencies
• Monitor project milestones, risks, actions and deliverables
• Assist with procurement and contract administration
• Support capital works program delivery from planning through to completion

Required profile

• Experience in civil infrastructure, transport infrastructure or capital works project environments
• Experience in project coordination, project administration or project delivery support
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Desirable: local government experience, roads, traffic, drainage or transport infrastructure exposure, asset management or capital works experience, and a qualification in Civil Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline

• Full-time contract based in Cleveland, Queensland
