Site-Based Electrician (FIFO from Brisbane)

About the role

A leading provider of integrated facilities management and remote site services across Australia is looking for an electrician to join its team delivering camp maintenance and breakdown repairs on remote sites. The position is based in Brisbane, full time, with a 2:2 FIFO roster and a salary package of $130,000 per year.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out domestic and commercial maintenance across remote camp facilities.
• Respond to breakdowns and complete repairs on camp accommodation, kitchens, amenities and site facilities.
• Perform preventative maintenance so equipment, services and facilities stay safe, reliable and operational.
• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues and coordinate repairs to minimise downtime.
• Complete general maintenance tasks and support the upkeep of camp infrastructure and equipment.
• Ensure all work follows site procedures, safety requirements and relevant Australian Standards.
• Complete maintenance documentation, service reports and compliance records.
• Work with the site maintenance team to keep camp facilities running smoothly.

Required profile

• QLD electrical licence and restricted electrical licence.
• Current CPR and LVR certification and a White Card.
• ARC Tick licence.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
