Senior Project Controller

About the role

Join Saab Australia’s Engineering and Sustainment Services group as a Senior Project Controller, providing advice and guidance on project planning, monitoring, cost and schedule control for major defence projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of the Tasking Statement Work Breakdown Structure (TSWBS) and associated WBS Dictionaries.
• Ensure planning, budgeting, accounting, analysis and reporting activities are fully integrated.
• Coordinate cost and schedule planning with Control Account Managers and Project Managers.
• Undertake detailed planning activities, including rolling‑wave planning and develop Control Account Plans (CAP).

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in engineering, science or business (desirable).
• More than five years’ experience as a project planner and controller on medium to high‑complexity projects.
• Experience in an EV Defence project environment.
• Knowledge of Project Management processes such as PMBOK.
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
