Senior Product Designer

About the role

carsales, an online vehicle marketplace founded in 1997, is hiring a Senior Product Designer in Melbourne. You will research, design, build and refine user-centric experiences and interfaces for its products, which are used daily by millions of customers worldwide. The role is full-time and hybrid, combining remote work with in-person collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Share expertise by presenting design concepts to partners and teams across the business
• Develop and support solutions that deliver seamless, user-centred product experiences
• Collaborate with product development and other teams to set project scope, delivery timeframes and quality standards
• Work with product strategists, technical leads and developers to recommend the best outcomes

Required profile

• Demonstrated inclusive and interpersonal attributes aligned with the company's Customer-obsessed, Curious and Connected behaviours
• Ability to define and lead the development of new concepts and solutions that improve the carsales product offering across the buyer/seller journey
• Understanding of user problems and pain points, able to design interfaces that meet business requirements and user needs
• Ability to collaborate across a diverse team and turn complex tasks into intuitive, accessible designs
• Successful candidates must complete a National Police Record check and hold full-time Australian working rights
