Boutique Visual Merchandiser

About the role

Chanel is recruiting a Visual Merchandiser for its NSW VM team, based at its Market Street Sydney boutique. The role is a 12-month contract and works closely with the Head of Boutique to uphold Chanel's standards and deliver outstanding merchandising. The Visual Merchandiser uses design and styling to convey the fashion and image message of Chanel through visual merchandising and window display, following international and regional guidelines and the "one boutique one story" strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and organise POS tools, as well as interior and window displays for the boutique.
• Install window displays, mannequins and in-store displays for each collection and throughout the month.
• Maintain a high standard of visual presentation and ensure image consistency across the market.
• Prepare and install product displays for special events such as replica shows, collection previews and private viewings.
• Support the VM team in preparing window, in-store merchandise, POS tools and visuals for important VM changes.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Visual Merchandising or a similar qualification.
• Relevant experience in visual merchandising in retail.
• Strong sense of fashion and arts, with a good understanding of brand DNA.
• Patient, detail-oriented, creative and able to think commercially.
• Flexible and agile learner who adapts to retail and image needs.
