Senior Procurement Specialist
Eucalyptus · Sydney
Job description
About the role
Eucalyptus, part of the Hims & Hers group, is looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist to own sourcing, supplier and category strategy across its product categories in Australia. This is a senior individual contributor role: you design the category strategy, run supplier performance and partner with Commercial and Clinical to bring new product lines to market. The role reports to the Head of Supply Chain and works closely with the Warehouse and Inventory Manager, Fulfilment, Legal and Compliance and the Commercial team.
Key responsibilities
- Translate the commercial strategy into a sourcing and negotiation strategy, using Hims & Hers' global supplier relationships to secure competitive landed costs.
- Set up an initial, lightweight S&OP cadence based on supplier performance and cost/margin tracking, then gradually add inventory and other planning inputs.
- Run quarterly business reviews with strategic suppliers, track scorecards on quality, service, cost and lead time, and lead performance improvement plans.
- Own the procurement side of new product launches, including TGA/ARTG registration readiness, supplier onboarding and launch stock planning.
- Build a supply-risk framework and maintain a SKU-level view of landed cost.
- Work with Legal and Compliance on contracting standards and templates, ensuring products meet Australian labelling and ARTG requirements, and manage import duties, customs and biosecurity.
- Coach more junior team members and raise the quality standard for sourcing and contracting.
Required profile
- 6+ years in procurement or strategic sourcing, ideally in FMCG, pharma, healthcare or another regulated consumer-goods environment, with a track record of owning a category end-to-end.
- Proven commercial negotiator who has delivered category strategies and measurable savings.
- Experience running supplier QBRs and leading structured performance improvement.
- Working knowledge of Australian import, labelling and regulatory requirements; TGA/ARTG familiarity is highly desirable.
- Comfortable designing frameworks with Legal and Compliance, and able to stand up an S&OP cadence from scratch.
- Analytical, fluent with cost and margin data, and a natural coach.
Required skills
- ERP and procurement system experience is advantageous.
What we offer
- Mentorship from leaders across Australia, the UK, Germany and Japan, and collaboration with teams in the Philippines and South Africa.
- Learning budgets, conferences, certifications, peer shadowing and a global knowledge-sharing culture.
- Wellness talks, exercise classes, free coffee, funded social clubs and quarterly rooftop parties.
- Parental and miscarriage leave, health and personal days, and an Employee Assistance Program.
