Senior Platform Engineer

About the role

Kudosity is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer who lives and breathes cloud technologies. You will be a technical leader shaping platform patterns, architecture, and reliability to enable fast, reliable development across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Guide operational excellence, covering observability, performance, and reliability.
• Reduce release cycle time and support the transition from AWS to GCP.
• Promote a "You Build It, You Run It" culture and manage cloud costs pragmatically.
• Drive architectural and infrastructural decisions with a strategic view.
• Mentor cloud engineers, conduct code reviews, and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with product, design, and development teams to align on goals and agile processes.
• Contribute to technical roadmaps, evaluate emerging technologies, and improve platform security and maintainability.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP).
• Strong communication and mentorship skills, able to guide engineers at all levels.
• Proven ability to design comprehensive cloud solutions for complex business problems.
• Track record of delivering projects on time and improving system reliability, performance, and scalability.

Required skills

• Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) and microservice/domain architecture.
• Programming languages: Golang, Python, JavaScript.
• Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• DevSecOps practices and security controls.
• Experience with large, high‑performing applications.
