Senior Pharmacist – Virtual Care & Innovation

About the role

The Senior Pharmacist – Virtual Care & Innovation will lead the implementation and management of virtual pharmacy services across Northern Health’s campuses, driving digital innovation and supporting efficient models of care.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and optimise virtual care platforms for the Pharmacy Department, including the Virtual Emergency Department and Virtual Specialist Consults.
• Lead a clinical pharmacy team to ensure excellence in patient care and medication safety.
• Oversee the organisation, implementation and supervision of pharmacy services within the Division of Virtual Health.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve service delivery and support digital health initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent qualification.
• Registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Experienced pharmacist with strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Proven experience in service improvement and interdisciplinary practice.
