Senior Pharmacist – Investigational Drugs (Temp Part‑Time)

About the role

Metro South Health is seeking a Temporary Part‑Time Senior Pharmacist to lead investigational drug services across Meadowbrook, Eight Mile Plains and Beaudesert. You will provide advanced pharmacy care within clinical trials, support quality improvement initiatives and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based pharmacy services for investigational medicines.
• Provide expert clinical advice to multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to service development, quality improvement and research activities.
• Supervise, mentor and develop pharmacists, pharmacy students and support staff.
• Support safe, effective and patient‑centred medication management.

Required profile

• A registered pharmacist with AHPRA.
• Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) and extensive experience in clinical pharmacy.
• Demonstrated experience delivering advanced clinical pharmacy services, preferably within clinical trials.
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial regulations and investigational medicines.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex clinical workloads and lead quality improvement initiatives.
