Senior Occupational Therapist

About the role

Ability Action Australia, a national NDIS therapy provider, is recruiting a Senior Occupational Therapist. The role suits someone who naturally mentors others, enjoys solving complex challenges and helps participants reach meaningful goals. It involves leading and supervising other therapists while delivering clinical work.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor, coach and formally supervise Occupational Therapists.
• Deliver evidence-based OT services across home, school and community settings.
• Complete functional assessments and develop person-centred intervention plans.
• Recommend assistive technology and home modifications.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and help build a positive clinical culture.

Required profile

• A registered Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
• Experience working within the NDIS.
• Enjoyment of mentoring and developing other clinicians.
• Passion for evidence-based practice and participant outcomes.
